Damien Rice and Vienna Teng

If somehow you haven't heard Damien Rice's second album '9', you must check out the single "9 Crimes" with Lisa Hannigan adding to the vocals. You might remember Damien Rice from his music's inclusion in the movie 'Closer' starring Natalie Portman, Clive Owen, Julie Roberts, and Jude Law and in its trailers. That song was "The Blower's Daughter" from 2003's 'O' which is also amazing.


Speaking of Damien Rice, here is the most beautiful cover I believe I've ever heard. Ever. It is of his song "Cannonball" from 'O'. This version is performed by Vienna Teng, who I had the privilege of seeing perform this (in a very intimate setting) two nights in a row.
